Hi there- sorry that it has been a while.
I have been stitching! At least I have a good excuse for not posting anything new.
Here is my latest project which I finished today. It was my first time using a fabric count of 28. This was practice for the bigger projects ( coat of arms, and Jack Jack the well read cat) I will tell you I doubt I doubt I will ever go smaller!
I learned a few things with this project. I can not use more then one thread per stitch. I used 2 ply on this project and it was pulling to tight, plus it was very hard to push the thread through. 28 count is VERY small. This project was 38 stitches wide and 38 stitches high. It came out to be about an inch square.
Sorry its so blurry. It is a picture of a carnation, with the words ” A Flower for you.”
