Happy Friday everyone. I hope that you all are doing well. I have been stitching again, 🙂
I just wanted to share this project. Its my second finish of the year and there was more back stitching to this pattern then I usually do. But I think it came out good, and was worth the extra work. 🙂
Here are the progress pics! This was a kit I bought at a thrift shop ( great place to find discontinued patterns folks!) It’s a Dimensions “Matted Accents” Weekend project. Its called Romance of the Rose. It came with a designer mat which was very cool.
Sorry about the yellow lighting in the photos… My stitching light was on. 🙂
(Above) Nearly finished all cross stitches. No Back Stitching visible yet…
Here you can see the back stitching all finished, outlines and even the veins in the leaves! This design was beautiful. And this is the very neat mat which came with this kit. All I need now is an 8×10 frame!
So. One down, and 14 more to go before the year is over. Will I make it? Some of my planned projects are kinda big. ( And I know I always strive to do more than humanly possible, lol) But if you will keep reading this blog, and take this Journey with me I know I can do it. 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
