Hello fellow stitchers! I have much to share!
I finished a Wedding sampler last month, and was able to gift it, so now I can share photos!
The wedding colors were greens purples and earth tones. This was a very fun project. I used sulky threads instead of floss on 18 count. I had to use 4 strands for each stitch.
I found this poem about love. Although the author is unknown, it was written in the 17th century. I thought it was lovely.
And the finished framed product! I used burlap to give it a more earthy feel. I believe it was 9X11 inches with the frame. This piece was hand laced over cardboard, and then set on top of the burlap piece in the frame.
At the bottom I added a verse from 1 Corinthians, chapter 13, verse 13:
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
